Young and talented musician, Katlego Steja is ready to shine!

Born in Mankweng - Turfloop, outside Polokwane in Limpopo Province, South Africa, Katlego Ramashala will never look back! A 28 year old teacher, musician, perfomer, entrepreneur and founder of “Are Thusheng Bao Hloka – NPO” attended Mountainview Secondary school, UNISA, CTU/Seta (short course on media and digital marketing course).

“My journey and life experiences inspired my music career. I listened to lot of artists but the late legendary Rap Artist, Tupac plays important role in my music. His art of telling a story through music is amazing! South African artist, Casper Nyovest also inspires me through his movements and business wise”, he said.

Katlego Steja, as famously known, is concerned about gatekeepers in the music industry, more especially people you grew up with and their tendency of undermining each other’s talents in music. “We need people who are positive and have much believe in our talents. People who can advise and guide us through music journey” added Steja.

Talented artist has no limit when coming to music genre, his fans are currently enjoying a hit called “Bjalwa” - featuring Juice SA, 071 Nelly MasterBeat and OkBhutiDess, “Ke phela kele 1” ft Judgement Fire SA many more. He is currently cooking new good music and his dream is to work with Shebeshxt, Makhadzi, Karishma, Master Chuza, Percy 5, Hitboss, Janesh, Change Down, Drill Prill and others.

“I enjoyed performing at Marula Festival, Meropa Casino and won a talent show award twice. Music industry is not easy, aspiring and upcoming artists must have a startup plan, find a job or make money in order to fund their music. They must not afraid to start somewhere and never forget that legends are not born but made”, he concluded.
