Always great to see youth trying hard to put food on the table. Letlhogonolo Kotsedi is a 29-year-old award-winning author & founder of Doleza Fragrances from Mosweu Village, Zeerust, North West Province in South Africa. He attended Mosenogi Primary, Lekolwane Primary , completed his studies at Mosekaphofu Secondary School and graduated for Management Assistant from Taletso TVET College, Lehurutshe Campus.

“Running my own business has always been my dream when I grow up. I also liked to play soccer and earned a nickname “Doleza” from the former late Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs coach, Paul Doleza. I did not grow like any other kids, I had a bitter childhood memories but instead of crying, I decided to bleed on every page. I find solace in writing”, he said.

In November 2025, Doleza introduced “Doleza fragrances” with the aim of changing a game and investing in something that going to bring changes in his life. “Doleza fragrances is a long term investment.  In future I see it having a multiple stores nationwide. It's not going to be easy but I'm willing try by all means to reach my goal”, he added.

Starting a business is no child’s play, it takes courage, one need to be sure of what is needed and more research needs to be done. The industry is not for the faint hearted, lots of risks need to be taken.

“We live in a cruel world where there is lack of opportunities. My message to youth is that sitting and complaining about government will not solve the problems neither take you anywhere. Find a passion and work on it. Start small and trust the process.
