Amukelani Baloyi (25) is from a place called Losmycherry, Limpopo Province - South Africa. Dhura, as famously known, is a talented comedian, actor and MC who is currently upgrading his Matric.
“I grew up around people who always love to make fun about anything coming across, then started working with “Khephar”, (comedian), am inspired by “Sabinus - comedian”. Working with great team boosted my confidence and experience. I take my time to write my content, sometimes two days or so. I also socialise a lot , meeting different people and places to come up with lots of ideas”, he said.
Watching his videos, one will be amazed on how he portrays many characters, he is the main guy to bet on when coming to play different characters. “My fans love my characters, Dhura, Bopapa Benert, Moscow and Dorris. They get excited , scream and ask for pictures when I meet them on the streets” added Dhura.
Its always sad to see our talented African brothers and sisters struggling and lack support to expose their work to reach massive audiences. People turn to give support once they see the person rising to the top or making money. Dhura‘s team is pleading to anyone who can donate or sponsor them with good quality cameras, computer or anything that can take their work to the high level.
“I am not gonna give up, my fans must watch out for more funny videos. My dream is to build school of arts in Limpopo Province and assist upcoming talents” he concluded,
