"Thanks a lot to my mom, for pushing me to work more harder"

Continuing with Rising Star feature, today we have Our Rising Star no: 187 and bring you an amazing young dancer! Mellisah Siziba (17) is from Pretoria West in Danville, Gauteng, South Africa and went to Amhlophe High School. Rise Africans Newspaper’s one and only Portia Haraba had a nice chat with the talented dancer.

“It all started when I was 10 years old after inspired by other dancers on social media channels. I will then start to practice every weekend when I got a time to improve my skills. I am a good dancer and believe in myself, my dream is to become a famous dancer when I grew up. I used to post my dancing videos on all social media sites, it was very hard for me cause I did not get what I wanted but my mom keeps pushing me to do more, one day my dream will come true”, she said

It is hard for upcoming dancers to make a breakthrough into entertainment industry, Mellisah added that with the help of organisers and promoters, life will be easy because they will be able to showcase their talents to the world.

“My advice to all youngsters who are chasing their talents is that they must push harder and be never give up their talents. I want to see myself getting more gigs and visit Dubai in coming 3 years”, she concluded.

Rise Africans Newspaper is so proud of this talented young dancer, bookings can be done: Facebook: Mellisah Thubelihle | Tik Tok: @Mellisah Thubelihle05 | contact : 0713873380
